Zaid Sultan is Director of Censere’s US Operations and is based in Houston, Texas. He has over fifteen years of experience involving fraud, corruption, compliance, and dispute resolution in a variety of different clients ranging from multi-national commercial companies, the United States Federal Government, other Foreign Governments and multi-lateral international organizations. Additionally, Mr. Sultan has worked closely with International Law and Audit Firms.
Mr. Sultan’s career has focused on some very large dispute cases in the financial sector, particularly around the 2008 US Credit Crisis. With a focus on fraud and bribery investigations, data analytics for fraud detection, compliance and fraud risk training, FCPA/UK Anti-Bribery, Mr. Sultan has worked in a wide range of countries including the Middle East/North Africa region, Pakistan, UK, France, Germany, Spain and the United States. Additionally to the financial sector, Mr. Sultan has worked extensively in Oil/Gas, Defense, Manufacturing, and IT.
Mr. Sultan is the current Chairman of the Houston Metropolitan Chamber and Chairs the Chamber’s International Affairs Council. He is fluent in English, Urdu and working knowledge of Arabic. He received his Bachelors from the University of Pittsburgh with a BSBA in Accounting and Minor in Arabic Studies and his Master’s in Business Administration from American University with a focus on Global Emerging Markets/Finance.
